Announcing the inaugural Teaching with OER Grant: A partnership between TMU Libraries and the CELT

TMU Libraries and the CELT are pleased to announce the launch of this joint grant that encourages creation and meaningful integration of open educational resources (OER) in course design. OER are learning materials that are openly licensed such that they are freely available to be adapted, copied, and shared.

This grant is unique among the OER grants available at TMU Libraries. In addition to funding, the grant provides pedagogical and instructional design support, as well as multimedia production services, all provided by CELT’s Digital Learning team.

Building on TMU Libraries’ expertise in OER publishing and dissemination, this grant is a proactive step to address the burden of rising textbook costs that will improve access for TMU students to learning materials.
